Welcome Reception

The welcome reception will take place at the conference venue immediately after the training school and will mark the official opening of the conference. Participants are invited to join an informal networking event with a selection of food and drinks, offering an excellent opportunity to meet colleagues and start scientific discussions in a relaxed atmosphere. A special highlight of the evening will be the free beer from the oldest brewery in the world, Weihenstephan.

Conference Dinner

The conference dinner will be held at the Braustüberl Weihenstephan. The evening will feature a carefully selected range of high-quality food and beverages and will provide a convivial setting for continued exchange among participants, speakers, and organizers. Further details regarding the program and schedule will be announced in due course.

Visit of the FRM II Research Reactor 

A guided visit to the FRM II research reactor will be organized for interested participants. The program includes a tour of the state-of-the-art guide neutron instruments as well as  laboratory visits at the MLZ, including the food science laboratory. This visit offers a unique opportunity to gain insight into advanced experimental infrastructure and ongoing research activities.

Visit of the Weihenstephan Life Science Campus of the TU München

The laboratories and facilities of the Life Science Campus, with focus on food science, will be visited. Participants will gain an overview of current research environments and infrastructure. The visit will provide a relaxed and engaging conclusion to the event, combining scientific insight with opportunities for discussion and exchange.
